My name is Sarah Ellis and I am a fully qualified, traditional acupuncturist working from a calm and welcoming clinic in Montpellier, Cheltenham.
I graduated from The Acupuncture Academy in 2022 and was awarded a Distinction for their Professional Licentiate in Acupuncture, which is a three year, degree level qualification accredited by the British Acupuncture Accreditation Board. My training was extensive and covered all aspects of Chinese medical and acupuncture theory, with a focus on the Five Element approach.
I am a member of the British Acupuncture Council and adhere to the Council’s Codes of Safe Practice and Professional conduct. My clinic is licensed by Cheltenham Borough Council and I hold full medical malpractice and public/products liability insurance cover.
My approach to your treatment
I was inspired to practice Five Element acupuncture by the desire to really care for my patients, and to support them naturally, in their goals of achieving better physical and emotional health. I am fascinated by the link between the body and the mind, and unwavering in my belief in the body’s innate ability to heal.
As a Five Element practitioner, I work with my patients to bring their system back into a dynamic state of balance. I focus not only on symptoms, but on the patient as a whole person; taking into consideration the body, mind and spirit. By harmonising the relationships between the Five Elements (Fire, Earth, Metal, Water and Wood), and by clearing the system of the pathogens which lead to disease, I aim to restore in my patients an optimum environment for healing, and a calmer state of mind.
